Acute pain
rarely becomes chronic pain as it lasts a moment while chronic pain can persist

result of fear of injury as well. One can feel difficulty in returning to the
normal work and leisure activities. Headache, cancer pain, neurogenic pain, low
back pain, arthritis pain and psychogenic pain are common complaints of chronic
pain. This pain can start from an injury or infection and it can be ongoing

pain can be treated in many ways depending on the severity. You can have
symptomatic options for chronic pain treatment like drugs such as Motrin, Aleve
and Tylenol. There are stronger medications like codeine, morphine and
anesthesia as well. Chronic pain can be treated by using nerve blockers,
physical therapy, electrical stimulation, behavioral modification and
psychological counseling. Some pain medicines can be effective when these
medicines are combined with other treatment methods. You can be able to
